Chess is a two-player game and is played on a board with 64 black and white squares and using chess pieces (king, minister, rook, elephant, horse and soldier). Each player has 16 pieces that are arranged on one side of the chess board and each one has a specific value and score. Chess ends when one of the player’s wins or a draw.

1- Pawn
It only moves forward and can move only one house along the column it is on. All pawns have the right to move one or two squares forward on their first move (and only on their first move), regardless of how far they have passed since the beginning of the game. The pawn hits the opponent's piece obliquely.
Foot promotion
When the pawn reaches the end of the board (its last width), it can become one of its knights of the same color (except the king). In other words, if one of the white pawns reaches the eighth width or one of the black pawns reaches the first width, the pawn will immediately leave the screen (the pawn can never stay in its last width), and the knights of the same color will replace them.
Note: A chess player can have up to 9 ministers, likewise he can have ten rooks, ten knights or ten bishops.

2- face movement
A rook can move to any empty square in the column or width it is on, provided that the opponent's checkers are not hashed. After learning the movement of pawns and rooks, it is appropriate to play practice games with the presence of pawns only or with the presence of pawns and rooks with the student.
3- Elephant movement
The elephant always moves diagonally (along the diameter) and in houses of the same color as its original house. The elephant can move in any direction on the diagonals, but it is only allowed to go in one direction in each move, that is, it cannot change its path in the middle of a move. In addition, each elephant is in any color at the beginning and will remain in that color until the end of the game. So the elephant that is in the white houses is called the white elephant and the elephant that is in the black houses is called the black elephant.
4-Movement of the Minister
The movement of the minister is a combination of the movement of the elephant and the face. That is, the minister can move like an elephant on the square of the same color as the house he is on. Also, if there is no obstacle in its way, it can travel the length of any width or column on which it is located.
King's move: The king moves in chess are the same as the minister's move, but only one house can be moved at a time. In this way, the king can move forward, backward, sideways or diagonally.
6- Horse movement:
The movement of the horse in each direction is in the shape of the letter L. The best definition that can be given for horse movement is:
Two houses up and down, then one house to the sides or two houses to the sides, then one house up or down.
Conceptualizing or taking
Catching: Catching or hitting or killing a piece is also considered an imposed move, because the opponent must take the piece back to compensate for the lack of strength. Sometimes, in response to getting a piece, you can do a double attack or resort to other extreme movements, but generally, you should compensate for the lost piece so that you don't fall behind.
Sometimes we give the stronger rider and take the weaker piece, in this case we have made sacrifices, in fact, we consciously set ourselves back a little in order to be superior to the opponent. If we lose the same value of the lost bead, we have replaced it.
After teaching each piece movement, it will be appropriate to add that piece to the game and play with the student.

Checkmate in chess
When the king is threatened by the opponent's piece, we say that the king is Checkmate.
An important role in chess is that when the king is given a Checkmate, the chess player must immediately remove it from the Checkmate state; And based on the same principle, the king cannot make a move that puts it in a Checkmate position, that is, the king should not enter a house that is within the attack range of the opponent's piece, that is why two kings cannot give Checkmate to another. How to get out of Checkmate mode:
1- Taking the king to a safe house that is out of the threat of the opponent's piece.
2- Placing one of the internal pieces between the king and the piece given by Checkmate.
3- Hitting the bead that he gave to the king. Checkmate who gives what work, hit and close, run away
4- Checkmate and Mate: If none of the (3 cases of Checkmate removal) is possible against the opponent's Checkmate, then we say that your king is checkmate.
